The famous Kelsha Manx cattery began in 1964 with a tiny tailless kitty named Katy. Kelly was so enamored with Katy she entered her in a cat show. Much to her delight, Katy was awarded a Best Kitten! Then and now, in a hobby devoted to beauty and balance, Kelsha Manx are loved for their distinctive and adorable expressions, outstanding health, and delightful intelligence. Most important of all is their fun-loving personality.

As a cheerleader for the Manx breed, Kelly was former Secretary of the Manx Breed Council, Publisher of two Manx magazines, and Editor/Publisher of a Manx Yearbook. She was a Cat Fanciers Association Judge of all longhaired and shorthaired cats and held many offices in cat clubs. John is an MD, JD involved in avant garde research, as well as chief maintenance officer of the kitties.

Kelly and John have shown their beautiful cats across the US and have five times been been the recipients ofthe Cat Fanciers Associations' National Highest Scoring Manx (the covetedBreed Winner "BW" title)", including winning this award the last three out of four years. Their winners also includefour National Award Best Top Cats, six Distinguished Merit sires and dams, dozens of Regional and National Color Winners, and more than 50 Grand Champions.

Kelsha Manx are located in South Florida in the winter and North Carolina in the summer.
